"This is a four star hotel giving five star service and experience. The staff are wonderful, hospitable and easy to talk to...and that's in every area we went to of the hotel. Rooms are delightful. The Bible in the room is a fantastic tradition that is really good to see. We will definitely be going back there."

"What a lovely hotel! I know it's not the most modern up to date hotel in the world but its few shortfalls are more than made up by the charm, character, feel and most importantly the Staff. . Friendly, swift and effortless check in . Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfy . Breakfast is buffet style with massive choice . Bar area has a lovely feel to it, light and airy . Indoor spa and pool are clean and modern . Outdoor terrace has stunning views . Great value for money . THE STAFF ARE AWESOME!!!!! Thank you to Ian for your knowledge and advice about the hotel and the area. Top Bloke."

"A superb stay! The staff were lovely and helpful and enjoyed trying the hotels cocktails in the lounge bar. The only issues were the lifts being out of order. We were complimentary upgraded to a beautiful room though so could not complain. A lovely hotel."

"Mr and Mrs P. Youdle. My wife and I came to Torquay from Kent for my health and to relax. I nearly died two months ago from a bout of epileptic seizures. Its been a tough year for us so it was a pleasure staying at The Grand hotel. The room was great. The staff were very helpful and kind. The food was good. The whole round service was fantastic. We will definitely return in the future. The hotel and its staff did the town of Torquay and the county Devon proud. I would recommend them to anyone."

"Scenic old hotel right on the seafront and next door to the rail station. Spa, meeting rooms & weddings. Good place for coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. Lovely conservatory and patio."
