"My partner and I had a great day ride over Dartmoor with Tim from Adventure Clydesdale. The ride is suitable for people who already have some riding skills, since you're riding at walk, trot and canter on the moors and riding on (quiet) roads in a few places. We rode out a few days after a large snow storm, which initially cancelled our planned ride but Tim was very helpful and accommodating and fitted us in a couple of days later. Dartmoor is beautiful and horseback is one of the best ways to experience it. Tim is knowledgeable about the local area and was a good guide. I rode Tom Parker who was huge (as expected) but gentle and well behaved. We rode in the morning before stopping for a packed lunch and then continuing riding through the afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed my mini Adventure and am keen to repeat the experience. Best day out ever!"

"Big thanks to Adventure Clydesdale! Most patient, even when I went into a snowdrift on Big Al (lesson learned and humbled). Not for the complete beginner but a great learning experience for the novice and upward. Tim is a great guy, as are the horses...Thunder-hooves are go!"

"My daughter and I had the most wonderful time up on the gentle giants Big Al and Tom Parker on our half day ride. The rain held off, which was a bonus, and the ride was amazing, the views will be forever imprinted in my brain. Tim had lots of interesting information about Dartmoor and was a great guide. We are definitely coming back. Thank you Tim, to you and your team for memorable experience."

"Had the most amazing day with adventure clydesdale. My mum, sister and myself were taken on a 7 hour ride on wonderful gentle giants. We were taken over moors, woodland s, through streams and fields taking in breathtaking views. These gentle giants were impeccable well mannered and kept a steady pace all day. We stopped for lunch for an hour and took off saddles and bridles by a river while the horses relaxed. The owner and guide Tim was lovely and very knowledgeable about the area pointing out interesting facts, the ride felt like a group of friends going for a hack. We all fell in love with the clydesdales and they certainly gained our respect, they are a kind, gentle, strong, willing, comfy breed and we will definitely be back for another ride. "
