Walking

Walking is something that we do as part of our everyday lives and is a gentle, low impact exercise. Increasing your levels of walking is an easy way to improve your levels of physical activity and fitness. Check out the new Explore Devon website which has information on walking routes and maps so you can find a suitable route near you.

Alternatively, organised walks are a great way to get involved and provide a supportive setting for new walkers. To get involved contact your local Walking for Health group or Ramblers Association. Alternatively, why not evolve your daily commute and walk all or part of your way to work?
